IMPORTANT DATES
Tuesday June 12 – Thursday June 14 Road paving of Barton Shore Drive from the intersection of Underdown Road westward to the curve near 560/600 Barton Shore Drive (where the water line was installed last summer). Please avoid that stretch of road until the work is completed.
Friday June 29 Fireworks Barton Hills Country Club will be holding their annual member celebration of Independence Day with fireworks. Families with dogs and young children who might be upset by the noise should make appropriate arrangements. Residents are also advised to use extreme caution when setting off any legal fireworks over the holiday.
Monday June 18 – Wednesday June 27 Clerk’s Office closed for vacation. If you have an urgent need during that time please call 734-222-5209 and follow the contact directions.
Tuesday August 7 Barton Hills Village Special Election for proposed Charter amendments (special assessment district for road maintenance). More information will be distributed soon regarding this important special election. Last day to register to vote in this election is Monday July 9. You can register at Ann Arbor Township Hall or any Secretary of State office.
Tuesday November 6 General Election to fill four seats on the BHV Board of Trustees.
Last day to file as a candidate for a seat is July 24. Petitions and other candidate information are now available from Ann Arbor Township, along with absentee ballot information.
