SECURITY REMINDER Remember to lock vehicles parked in the driveway or garage to avoid opportunities for theft. Motion sensor lighting is helpful, along with picking up mail, newspapers and packages promptly.
ECOLOGICAL BURN The City of Ann Arbor’s Natural Area Preservation Controlled Ecological Burn Season runs from February 19 through May 29, 2021. controlled burns may be conducted in Argo, Bird Hills, Hilltop, and Kuebler Langford Nature Areas (across the Huron River from BHV) on weekdays between 11 AM and 7 PM. SNOW PLOW REMINDER Winter probably won’t give up without sending a few more snowflakes. If you have a private service plowing your driveway, please make sure they understand that it is illegal to plow snow into the roadway. This includes plowing across the road to the other shoulder. Your snow needs to stay on your property.
THINK SPRING PLANTING BHV continues to encourage wise use of our water resources. When thinking about landscape plans and water sprinkler usage, a simple step to conserve water is to select drought-tolerant plants. Many of these thrifty plants use less water, while providing beauty and function in the landscape.
