PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

The regular meeting of the BHV Planning Commission was called to order by Chair Caldwell at Walter Esch Hall at 6:04 PM.
ROLL CALL Present: Commissioners Caldwell, Hanley, Hensinger, Wallace, and Weingartner. Absent: Commissioners MacKrell and Richards.
Others present: Randy Perry
PUBLIC COMMENT None.
MINUTES The minutes of the January 10, 2023 meeting were approved as printed. (Weingartner/Caldwell/P unanimously)
COMMUNICATIONS/ANNOUNCEMENTS BHMC Events: April 22, 2023, 1-4:00PM Earth Day Celebration at North 40. April 29, 2023, 3-4:30 PM 100th anniversary Olmstead event at the Ann Arbor District Library.
REPORTS None.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Tree Regulation Discussed protected/landmark trees and whether a permit and fee would be required for tree removal. Comments due to Mr. Wallace by end of month.
Steep Slopes Mr. Hensinger and Mr. Perry will continue to work on a draft ordinance. Comments due to Mr. Hensigner by end of month.
Zoning Ordinance Tabled for next meeting.
New Business
The next meeting of the Planning Commission was set for Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
