CLIMATE RESILIENCE MEETING Please join us for a one-hour presentation by Bryce Frohlich, Ann Arbor Climate Resilience Specialist, at 7:00pm on Tuesday, August 27th in the Village Hall.
Climate resilience is the ability to prepare for, and recover from, the anticipated impacts from climate change. While the forests and steep slopes are part of the beauty of living in BHV, they also present significant risks associated with severe weather. Learn what Ann Arbor is doing to prepare for severe weather and how BHV also can prepare.
PAVING WORK Will begin roadwork on Thursday August 29th and Friday August 30th on the West section of Barton Shore Drive. This section will be closed on Friday at 7:30 am until early Saturday morning. Please watch your speed through the construction zone and curves.
EXCESSIVE SPEEDING Employees and residents have raised concern about speeding within The Village. Our rolling topography and narrow roads make it difficult to see upcoming pedestrians, causing unsafe conditions for those enjoying time outside. Please slow down and watch for pedestrians especially on the hills and curves!
PROPERTY TAX BILLS Village property taxes are now due and collectable through September 16th. On September 17th, any unpaid taxes will incur a one-time 4% penalty and begin accruing a .5% monthly interest rate. Homeowners can mail in their taxes or drop them off at the Village Hall. Thank you to residents that have already paid their property taxes!

LABOR DAY The Village Hall will be closed Monday, September 2nd in honor of Labor Day. Trash pickup will be Tuesday, September 3rd. Wishing everyone a fun and safe holiday weekend!
BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING The Board of Trustees will meet at Walter Esch Hall on Monday, September 9 at 6:00 PM.
