The meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals was called to order by President Boddie at 6:02 PM at the Village Hall.
ROLL CALL Present: Trustees Benson, Boddie, Langford, Popp and Smith.
Absent: Trustees Al-Awar, Butterwick, MacKrell and Torres (phone).
Others attending: Supt. Esch, Asst. Treas. King, one project representative and one resident.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES Minutes of the October 10, 2016 Zoning Board of Appeals meeting were approved as printed. (Benson/Langford/P)
APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE 304 Juniper Lane
Project Presentation This project was addressed at the June 13, 2016 and July 11, 2016 ZBA meetings; applicants have submitted revised plans. Variance is requested for construction of a new 3-car garage proposed to encroach 20 feet into the 20 foot side set back.
Public Hearing The Public Hearing was convened at 6:03 PM. No public comment was given. The hearing was closed at 6:04 PM.
Discussion/Decision The ZBA is aware of the pending sale of the adjoining property to the applicant.
Motion Request for variance from Section 4.08 of the Barton Hills Village Zoning Ordinance to allow construction of a garage in the side set back according to plans dated 10/10/16 at 304 Juniper Lane was approved. (Smith/Langford/P)
