ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
BARTON HILLS VILLAGE
February 12, 2024
The meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals was called to order by President Holmes at 6:00 PM at Walter Esch Hall.
ROLL CALL Present: Trustees Al-Awar, Conlin, Darden, Hensinger, Holmes, Perry, Popp, and Smith. Absent: Trustee Haitam.
Others attending: ZA Capozza, Supt. Hnatow, BHMC President David, six residents, and one guest.
250 BARTON SHORE DRIVE Application for variance to replace existing wire fence along their property line that backs up to Whitmore Lake Road. The owners explained it would be an aesthetically wood fence that will be buried inside the woods and provide them with privacy and safety from Whitmore Lake Road.
No public comment or written comment was received.
Motion: Request for variance from Section 5.07(1) of the Barton Hills Village Zoning Ordinance to allow placement of a fence outside of the setback of the house at 250 Barton Shore Drive was approved. (Smith/Conlin/P)
