The Village has nine Trustees elected by registered voters, as listed below. If you have any questions about Barton Hills Village and its activities, or would like to get involved in a Committee, don’t hesitate to contact a Trustee. Contact the Clerk’s Office for more information. The Trustees meet on the second Monday of each month at 6 pm. These are open meetings, which means that all are welcome to attend. The agenda always includes a Public Comment section in which residents have the option to use a maximum of three minutes to make public comment. During the pandemic, the Trustees are meeting via Zoom. Meeting access information is included in this Bulletin and is also posted on the front door of Walter Esch Hall.

SECURITY SURVEY The Security Committee invites residents to participate in a short, nine question survey to provide feedback to the Committee about security issues. Contact the Clerk’s office for information. Thank you for helping the Committee as they review current security measures and plan for the future.
THINKING SPRING? While you’re leafing through seed catalogs and dreaming of warmer days, take a look at where the snow is piled up this year, for reference as you consider plantings, lights, sprinklers and other aspects of landscaping. Such items that are beautiful in the warm weather are invisible under the snow, making it difficult for the snowplow drivers to avoid them. The trucks plow from the road towards your house and the snow has to go somewhere on the way in and at the end. Allow at least three feet between the edge of the driveway and your landscape features.
