The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order by President Boddie at 6:00 PM at the Village Hall.
ROLL CALL Present: Trustees Al-Awar, Benson, Boddie, Butterwick, Langford, MacKrell, Popp and Smith. Absent: Trustee Torres. Others attending: Supt. Esch, Asst. Treas. King, BHMC President Legacki, BHMC Director Curtner and one resident.
PUBLIC COMMENT None.
TRUSTEE RESOLUTION The following resolution was adopted. (MacKrell/Butterwick/P)
BE IT RESOLVED that since GEORGE BOREL has served as a Barton Hills Village Trustee since 2009, and whereas he has brought enthusiasm, skill and wisdom to this volunteer position, serving as Treasurer along with other duties, the members of the Board of Trustees wish to thank Mr. Borel wholeheartedly for his contributions to the Board and his loyalty and dedication to the Barton Hills community, and extend their best wishes to him.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be recorded in the minutes of the
Barton Hills Village Board of Trustees.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Road Ownership. Sufficient petitions were submitted to meet the requirement. A Special Meeting of the Barton Hills Village Board of Trustees/Public Hearing was set for Monday January 30, 2017 at 6:00 PM at the Village Hall to consider the proposed creation of a road maintenance special assessment district (SAD) and the laying of the assessments for each of the individual parcels within the SAD/Village.
