Master Plan 5-Year Review Since the Barton Hills Village Board of Trustees returned the propose Master Plan with comments, the Planning Commission special meeting scheduled for May 11, 2021 was not held. The Commissioners and the Trustees held a workshop on June 7, 2021 to allow the Trustees more time to present their comments to the Commissioners. Ms. Weingartner will distribute her copy of the Master Plan with notes from the workshop to the Commissioners, who were requested to send their comments to Mr. MacKrell to merge into the draft.
Ordinance Update There were a number of Trustee comments at the workshop regarding renewable energy, particularly in regard to solar installations. Mr. Perry will develop an updated draft of the proposed solar ordinance that includes those comments.
A special meeting will be called if the Commissioners want to discuss these updates before the next regular meeting on September 14, 2021.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:41 PM. (Curtner/Hensinger/P unanimously)
