PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
March 3, 2020
The regular meeting of the BHV Planning Commission was called to order by Chair Weingartner at 6:08 PM at Walter Esch Hall.
ROLL CALL Present: Commissioners Hensinger, Wallace, Weingartner and Zoldan. Absent: Commissioners Curtner, MacKrell and Richards.
Others present: ZA Perry.
PUBLIC COMMENT None.
MINUTES The minutes of the December 10, 2019 meeting were approved as printed. (Hensinger/Weingartner/P unanimously)
COMMUNICATIONS/ANNOUNCEMENTS None.
REPORTS The 2020 Annual Report was submitted for the March 9, 2020 Barton Hills Village Annual Meeting.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS None.
NEW BUSINESS
–Officers were elected for 2020: Chair Laura Weingartner, Vice Chair Andre Zoldan and Secretary John MacKrell. (Wallace/Hensinger/P unanimously)
–A budget request for $1000 for fiscal year 2020-2021 Planning Commission expenses will be submitted to the BHV Treasurer. (Weingartner/Zoldan/P unanimously)
–The process for the five-year review of the BHV Master Plan was begun, with Mrs. Esch authorized to distribute the current Master Plan and the Review Checklist to the Commissioners. (Weingartner/Zoldan/P unanimously) Discussion will begin at the next regular Planning Commission meeting.
–Ann Arbor Township has recently updated their Solar Ordinance. The ordinance will be distributed to the Commissioners for review and discussion at a future meeting.
