BARTON HILLS VILLAGE Barton Hills Village has a new website, found at the address www.bartonhillsvillage.org. Our original website has been graciously hosted by Washtenaw County since it was launched in 2004. It has served us well and we greatly appreciate the training and support the County has provided to bring us into the electronic age. Now that websites are common and plentiful, Washtenaw County is focusing its attention on other technologies such as GIS mapping and is no longer providing website hosting.

Jan’s old Comcast email will be open for a while yet, but she will be replying from the new address with a reminder of the change. Jeff is out in the Village way more than in the office so he would prefer a phone call (734-368-7896) rather than an email for most communications.
BARTON HILLS MAINTENANCE CORPORATION Barton Hills Maintenance Corporation also has a new website at www.thebhmc.org. It looks similar to the BHV site but has a limited public area along with a password-protected area for BHMC shareholders. By exploring the site you will discover how this works and how to go about setting up your individual shareholder account (hint: click on File Directory).
BHMC Assistant Secretary Jan Esch also has a new email address specifically for BHMC communications: contact@thebhmc.org
As with anything new there will be a time of adjustment and some tweaking to be done. Please let Jan know if you spot errors/typos and if you have comments or ideas that will help provide even better communication and service to the Barton Hills Community.
WASHTENAW COUNTY Speaking of new websites, Washtenaw County has replaced their longtime ewashtenaw site with the brand new www.washtenaw.org. They have all sorts of helpful information, including government departments, on-line services, recreation, business resources and MapWashtenaw.
