The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order by President Boddie at 6:03 PM at the Village Hall.

ROLL CALL Present: Trustees Al-Awar, Benson, Boddie, Borel, Butterwick, Izenberg, Langford, and van der Velde. Absent: Trustee MacKrell. Others attending: Asst. Treasurer King, BHMC President Legacki, Hnatow (staff), eight residents and one guest.

WALL PERMIT Application for construction of retaining/landscape walls at 315 Corrie Road:
–The project was presented by Mrs. Esch for Zoning Administrator Perry.
–The Public Hearing was convened at 6:04 PM. Written comment was received from the neighbors at 281 Corrie Road in support of the project. There being no verbal comment, the hearing was closed at 6:05 PM.
–Based on the information submitted, a permit to construct retaining/landscape walls at 315 Corrie Road was approved. (Butterwick/Langford/P)

PUBLIC COMMENT Several residents spoke concerning BHV-owned property.

FINANCE/FINANCE COMMITTEE The Cash Balances report was distributed. The Cash Disbursements for April 2016 were approved as printed (Aux. Book XXIII E(3)). (Langford/van der Velde/P) The tax rate for 2016 remains at 10 mils.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
Personnel (Langford) Supt. Esch will be retiring as of March 31, 2017. Staff member Jeff Hnatow was introduced; he will be working with Supt. Esch to transition to the position.
Recreation (Benson) A picnic will be planned for September 2016.
