The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order by President Boddie at 6:02 PM at the Village Hall.
ROLL CALL Present: Trustees Al-Awar, Benson, Boddie, Butterwick, Langford, MacKrell and van der Velde. Absent: Trustees Borel and Izenberg. Others attending: ZA Perry, Supt. Esch, Asst. Supt. Hnatow, Asst. Treas. King, BHMC President Legacki and twenty one residents.
FIRE CHIEF New Ann Arbor Township Fire Chief Mark Nicholai was introduced.
PUBLIC COMMENT A number of residents spoke regarding the proposal to return ownership of the roads from BHV to BHMC. Mr. van der Velde arrived.

Recreation (Benson) Planning for the Halloween event is well underway.
Roads/Vehicles (Al-Awar) An engineer has been hired and field work will begin soon to develop the necessary plans for replacement of the water main from about 540 Barton Shore Drive to the intersection of Barton Shore Drive and Underdown Road. Construction should begin in early spring 2017. The motion tabled from the September 12, 2016 Board of Trustees meeting was discussed. Ownership of the roads in Barton Hills Village will be returned to Barton Hills Maintenance Corporation. (Boddie/Langford/P)
