GLASS AND OTHER RECYCLING
BHV will soon have two separate bins for recycling:  one for metals/paper and one only for glass.  The glass bin is smaller and has an open top.  Please do not put anything else in that bin besides glass.  Remove lids and rinse out glass containers before putting the containers (but not the lids) in the glass bin.  Recycle Ann Arbor as a new vendor for glass recycling that will not accept bins contaminated with any other materials.

Thank you for ensuring the success of our entire recycling program by making sure all items are clean and there is no food or liquid left in any containers.  Also note the listing on the side of the green bin about what items are acceptable/not acceptable.  Contact Jan at the Clerk’s office if you have questions (734-222-5209; bhvclerk@bartonhillsvillage.org.)

The next Washtenaw County Clean Up Day will be held on Saturday November 9, 2019 from 9 AM – noon at Eastern Michigan University.  See the attached flyer for details. (Contact the Clerk’s office for information)
