ELECTION UPDATE
BHV residents received (or will receive) new voter information cards in the US mail recently. The card indicates that the polling location for voting has changed from the Ann Arbor Township office on Pontiac Trail to Solid Rock Church, 3823 N. Dixboro Road. This applies to in-person voting only.
Voters who have applied for absentee ballots do not need to do anything else, The ballots will be mailed out by September 30. Absentee ballots must still be returned to the Ann Arbor Township office or drop box at 3792 Pontiac Trail. There is no drop box at the Solid Rock Church and no absentee ballots will be accepted there.
Solid Rock Church is located on the west side of Dixboro Road between Warren Road to the north and Plymouth Road to the south. Warren Road becomes gravel at Pontiac Trail.
There are seven candidates running for five seats on the BHV Board of Trustees at the November 3, 2020 election. A Barton Bulletin with candidate information will be distributed soon. Last day to file as a write-in candidate is October 23, 2020.
