BOARD OF TRUSTEES The Board of Trustees will meet at Walter Esch Hall on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 6:00 PM .
The meeting will include a public hearing for a wall permit (490 Barton Shore Drive). Public comment on the project may be submitted in writing to Barton Hills Village prior to the meeting, or in person during the meeting. The public may attend in person or via Zoom.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meeting scheduled for November 14, 2022 has been cancelled.

–Pedestrians/strollers/dog walkers/runners. Walk facing traffic, near the outer edge of the road, single file when vehicles are present. Wear bright-colored clothing.
–Cyclists. Ride with traffic, single file when vehicles are present. Wear bright-colored clothing and use lights.
–Vehicles. Move over for pedestrians/cycles/anything else in your lane, crossing the yellow line or waiting for on-coming traffic/then crossing the yellow line, so there is plenty of room between people and vehicles. Slow down.

HURON RIVER WATERSHED COUNCIL 2023 CALENDARS The focus for the 2023 calendar is Discover the Creeks of the Watershed. Learn more about the Huron River watershed while enjoying awesome photos of nature close-up. There is also helpful information about ways you can help to protect the health and diversity of our treasured waterways. The beautiful and interesting calendars will be distributed directly to residents this week, so keep an eye out for them.
FINAL HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION BHV collects household hazardous waste (HHW–fertilizer, cleaning products, paint, etc.) on the first Monday trash collection day of each month, April – November, and takes these items directly to the Washtenaw County Home Toxins Collection Center. Now that November is here, the BHV collection season is over.
HHW items put out with the trash will not be picked up, and may not be brought to the maintenance area, as there is no safe place to store the items. Residents can contact the Washtenaw County Home Toxins Center at 734-222-3950 to arrange to take items directly the Center themselves. There is a list of acceptable/unacceptable items on the County website at ewashtenaw.org (How Do I? >> Dispose >>Home Toxics).
