The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order by President Boddie at 6:01 PM at the Village Hall.
ROLL CALL Present: Trustees Al-Awar, Benson, Boddie, Borel, Butterwick, Izenberg, Langford, and van der Velde. Absent: Trustee MacKrell. Others attending: Asst. Treasurer King and BHMC President Legacki.

STORMWATER Elements of the BHV Stormwater Management Program were reviewed. It was noted that resident compliance with the BHV Code requirement to pump septic tanks at least every four years is consistently high (80-90%).
FINANCE/FINANCE COMMITTEE The Cash Balances report was distributed. The Cash Disbursements for March 2016 were approved as printed (Aux. Book XXIII E(2)). (Benson/Butterwick/P)

Water (Davis/JEsch) Trustees supported the Water Committee’s recommendations to provide information to residents about lead in drinking water (test results well under limit) and to sponsor home water testing for lead for those BHV residents who wish to participate. Testing BHV source water for dioxane was also supported.

NEW BUSINESS
–President Boddie was authorized to sign a sales agreement on behalf of Barton Hills Village concerning the BHV-owned lot at the corner of Forest and Country Club Roads for the appraised value ($400,000) less reasonable adjustments (i.e. septic, no realtor fee, up to $20,000). (Borel/Langford/P with Al-Awar and Butterwick voting no) The lot at the corner of Juniper Lane and Barton Shore Drive will also be offered for sale.
–A large screen TV will be purchased for the Village Hall meeting room to provide for display of plans for project review and other similar presentations.
