UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Master Plan 5-Year Review The Commissioners worked their way through all the proposed updates on Mr. Hensinger’s latest draft. The resulting document was approved to be presented at the May 9, 2022 meeting of the Barton Hills Village Board of Trustees for their consideration. (Weingartner/MacKrell/P unanimously)
Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) Ms. Weingartner’s draft report on ADU’s will be revised to include the Deed Restrictions language that specifically limits structures to one dwelling unit per lot for a single family residence. This eliminates any secondary structures, and any accommodations for unrelated domestic workers or care providers. The BHV Zoning Ordinance’s definition of “family” is the guiding language concerning inclusion of relatives in a single housekeeping unit. The report will be sent to the BHV Trustees for their May 9, 2022 meeting.
Discussion for the next meeting will focus on possible amendments to the Zoning Ordinance. Mr. Hensinger will compile a list of items for consideration.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:35 PM. (Weingartner/MacKrell/P unanimously)
