MDOT public meeting June 8 at Ann Arbor Farmers Market to discuss the M-14/Barton Drive interchange PEL study

 It’s vital that BHV residents be involved in this study/discussion.

 

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) invites the public to visit the Ann Arbor Farmers Market to gain information and provide input on a Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) study for the M-14/Barton Drive interchange. Through this comprehensive study, MDOT will evaluate environmental and traffic safety issues and possible improvements for future construction. The study area will extend along eastbound M-14 from just west of the Main Street ramps to just east of the Pontiac Trail bridge.

Project information:

Through the M-14/Barton Drive PEL study, MDOT will analyze the environmental and social impacts of a proposed Fiscal Year 2025 operational and geometric improvement to the eastbound M-14/Barton Drive on and off ramps.  Options being studied include closing the Barton Drive ramp, or extending the ramp for eastbound traffic exiting/entering M-14.  More information will be distributed to BHV residents as it becomes available.

Public comment:
